Christmas in June

It may seem strange that this is written in the middle of summer and I’m already dreaming of Christmas, but what can I say?  I love Christmas!  I think everything about it is magical.  No matter how much or little each of us has, that time of the year brings to heart what truly is important.  We cherish more who we have in our lives, come together  with friends and family and have warm or sometimes maybe “memorable” holiday gatherings that won’t soon be forgotten.

A Welcome Weariness

Sure it can be a hectic time.  Yes, maybe even wearing!  After all, no matter how early a start we get on the season there is always something that comes down to the wire.  Planning meals and last minute shopping trips sure can take it’s toll, but on December 26th, I know I look back and always seem to say “it was all worth it!”  Even the quirky Aunt, or the overbearing brother in law are all part of the meaning of family.  Having a unique inner circle makes life so much more interesting.
